Job summary

Elm Grove Property MGT in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations for residential and commercial properties with a strong emphasis on affordable housing. The role requires tenant relations, budgeting, compliance, and operational excellence to ensure profitable, compliant properties.

You will manage leasing, certifications, and communications with tenants and agencies, while coordinating maintenance and supervising on-site staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of property management experience, including affordable housing programs.
• Strong knowledge of property laws, leasing, compliance, and maintenance coordination.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with property management software and MS Office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations, ensuring compliance with policies and affordable housing program requirements.
• Maintain relationships with owners, tenants, vendors, and housing agencies.
• Handle tenant communications, including leases, renewals, recertifications, and conflicts.
• Ensure annual certifications, income verifications, and other program documentation.
• Coordinate property maintenance, inspections, and repairs promptly.
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and expense tracking.
• Market available units, show properties, and manage leasing.
• Lead, train, and supervise on-site staff (if applicable).
