JOB SUMMARY
As the Property Manager, you will provide leadership to your team and ensure outstanding customer service to your clients, managing an office building or portfolio. You will be responsible for tenant satisfaction, budgeting, financial reports, and staff development. The role is based on-site, with local market variations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Communication and Leadership:
Effectively communicate with the General Manager and regional leadership about operational issues and tenant concerns. - Budgeting and Financial Management:
Assist in preparing budgets, review financial statements, analyze financial data, and prepare reports for clients. - Property Inspections and Enhancements:
Inspect properties, recommend improvements, coordinate repairs and renovations, and manage construction projects. - Lease Administration and Tenant Relations:
Support lease review, manage lease processes, ensure lease compliance, and act as primary contact for tenant requests. - Financial Management and Contracting:
Manage accounting processes, review collection reports, handle tenant evictions, and oversee service contracts. - Team Communication:
Maintain regular communication with the property team and support tenant relations.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Inspect properties regularly to ensure standards are met.
- Manage tenant move-in/move-out processes.
- Ensure appropriate insurance is in place.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Education/Experience:
Associate or bachelor's degree required; finance or accounting preferred. 5-7 years of related experience. Must obtain a real estate license within 6 months. - Certifications/Licenses:
Real estate license required; LEED AP or GA preferred. - Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret legal and financial documents and solve practical problems.
