About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a residential community. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional resident experiences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about fostering a vibrant living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Oversee daily operations, including leasing, compliance, recertifications, marketing, budgeting, accounts receivable/payable, and vendor management.
- Serve as the acting manager.
- Ensure timely reporting and maintain clear communication regarding property performance.
Resident Relations:
- Assist with leasing, move-in processes, and property tours for prospective residents.
- Address resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Facilitate rent collection, manage deposits, and handle financial transactions, including past-due accounts.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and compliant resident files and documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of property policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with RD (Rural Development) program requirements, HUD, and other regulatory standards.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence.
- Provide guidance and support to property staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Contribute to team development initiatives and participate in staff training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in property management or related fields is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HUD programs is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
- *Experience with Yardi is a major plus!
