Job summary

Denstock Management LLC is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to lead daily leasing activity at a luxury apartment community. You will tour prospects, close leases, coach onsite staff, and oversee resident services, apartment readiness, and financial performance.

In this role you’ll manage collections and expenses, coordinate turns with maintenance, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing guidelines while guiding the team to meet performance goals set by regional leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CAM designation preferred.
• At least three years of onsite property management experience, including at least one year in a manager role.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience, strong leasing and sales skills, and the ability to coach employees and hold them accountable.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, OneSite Leasing and Rents, and Knock.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing performance by reviewing occupancy, availability, upcoming vacancies, prospect activity, and conversion results.
• Conduct tours, handle prospect calls, address objections, and close leases from inquiry to move-in.
• Coach onsite staff on sales skills, product knowledge, tours, and closing.
• Manage, train, coach, and evaluate onsite employees and coordinate hiring with HR.
• Coordinate apartment turns with maintenance and keep the make-ready schedule current.
• Address resident concerns, support retention and events, and oversee move-in/move-out inspections.

Lead leasing performance and the people who make a luxury apartment community successful.

Denstock Management LLC is seeking a Property Manager with strong leasing, sales, and people management skills. This hands-on role leads daily leasing activity, actively tours and follows up with prospects, coaches the onsite team, and takes responsibility for the community’s overall performance. You will also manage resident service, apartment readiness, financial priorities, and daily property operations.

What You Will Do

• Lead leasing performance by reviewing occupancy, availability, upcoming vacancies, prospect activity, and conversion results; take action to meet goals established with the Regional Manager.
• Actively conduct tours, handle prospect calls, address objections, and follow through from initial inquiry to application, lease execution, and move‑in.
• Direct and verify daily prospect follow-up in Knock and other approved channels; coach staff on sales skills, product knowledge, tours, and closing.
• Manage, train, coach, and evaluate onsite employees. Set clear priorities, address performance concerns, review timecards daily, and coordinate hiring and corrective action with Human Resources and regional leadership.
• Coordinate apartment turns with maintenance, keep the make‑ready schedule current, inspect vacant apartments, and maintain a community that is ready for tours and residents.
• Address resident concerns, support retention and resident events, and follow through on service issues and move-in and move‑out inspections.
• Manage collections, deposits, expenses, invoices, and required financial reporting; assist with budgets and operate within approved controls.
• Complete market surveys, review advertising, support employer outreach, and respond to online reviews under company guidance. Keep lease files, keys, vendor records, safety records, and operating reports accurate; follow Fair Housing requirements and company procedures.

• A strong leasing and sales mindset with the ability to personally conduct effective tours, follow up, and close leases.
• Confidence managing people, delivering practical sales coaching, setting priorities, and addressing performance concerns.
• Strong financial judgment and comfort reviewing budgets, expenses, collections, and property performance.
• Professional resident service, sound judgment, organization, and reliable follow‑through.
• Clear communication and the ability to align leasing, maintenance, vendors, and regional leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation preferred.
• At least three years of onsite property management experience, including at least one year in a manager role.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience, strong leasing and sales skills, and the ability to coach employees and hold them accountable.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, OneSite Leasing and Rents, and Knock, or ability to learn assigned systems.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance when driving is required for assigned duties.

Position Details

Schedule: Full time; schedule based on property needs, including emergency response when required

Classification: Salaried and exempt

Work location: Onsite at the assigned Denstock community; not eligible for routine remote work

Reporting relationship: Reports to the Regional Manager

Work Environment

This position works onsite in a multifamily residential property environment and regularly uses a computer, telephone, and office equipment. The Property Manager tours apartments, walks buildings and outdoor areas, climbs stairs, and completes inspections. Occasional travel to the bank, corporate office, or other properties may be required. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
