Job summary

Carter Jonas in Oxford is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties, ensure compliance with lettings legislation, coordinate maintenance, and build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties from move-in to move-out.
• Act as main contact for landlords and tenants.
• Coordinate maintenance with contractors.
• Conduct property inspections and prepare reports.
• Manage tenancy renewals and negotiate terms.
• Arrange check-ins and check-outs.
• Handle deposit disputes and ensure compliance with lettings legislation and safety requirements.
• Monitor rent payments and arrears when necessary.
• Maintain accurate property records and update CRM systems.
• Provide high level of customer service.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to join our established team in Oxford. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance with current legislation, coordinating maintenance works, and building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

Working hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Main tasks:

• Managing a portfolio of residential properties from move-in to move-out.
• Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
• Coordinating maintenance issues and repairs with contractors.
• Conducting property inspections and preparing reports.
• Managing tenancy renewals and negotiating terms where required.
• Arranging check-ins and check-outs.
• Handling deposit disputes and end-of-tenancy properties remain compliant with current lettings legislation and safety requirements.
• Monitoring rent payments and managing arrears where necessary.
• Maintaining accurate property records and updating CRM systems.
• Providing a high level of customer service at all times.

What Will It Take to Be Successful?
