Job summary

Elm Grove Companies in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties, with emphasis on affordable housing programs. You will manage tenant relations, budgets, compliance, and leasing while leading on-site staff and coordinating maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 3 years in property management (Section 8, LIHTC, HUD a plus), and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate or related field preferred.
• 3 years of property management experience, including affordable housing programs.
• Strong knowledge of property laws, leasing practices, compliance, and maintenance coordination.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and affordable housing program requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and housing agencies.
• Handle tenant communications including lease administration, renewals, recertifications and conflict resolution.
• Ensure accurate completion of annual certifications, income verifications and other program compliance documentation.
• Coordinate property maintenance inspections and repairs in a timely manner.
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports and expense tracking.
• Market available units, conduct property showings and manage the leasing process.
• Lead, train and supervise on-site staff if applicable.

Position Summary

• Proficiency in property management software eg AppFolio Yardi Buildium and MS Office
• Ability to multitask problem solve and manage time effectively
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or other language strongly preferred ability to communicate with a diverse resident population is highly valued
• Optional Real Estate license ARM or other property management certification preferred
