Job description

AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to manage an apartment community in Pittsburg, CA. Experience in affordable housing (RD/LIHTC/HUD) preferred.

This is a Full-Time position at 40 hours a week.

Starting pay is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE.

Requirements:

  • Reliable Transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Able to communicate across various audience levels
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
  • Highly proficient in math
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to manage emergency situations
  • Proficient in meeting strict deadlines
  • Professionalism
  • Listening

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned properties
  • Process applicant paperwork, screening applicants, obtaining landlord references, ensure all paperwork including lease and house rules receive signatures, re-certifications of current tenants, conducting move-ins and moveouts
  • Collecting rents and security deposits
  • Enforcing lease and house rules
  • Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
  • Maintaining excellent curb appeal
  • Advertise and market vacant units to attract tenants
  • Follow company policies and procedures
