Job summary

The Stellar Family of Companies is seeking a dynamic Property Manager to lead and optimize the performance of our residential community in Texas. You will coach onsite staff, manage budgets, drive occupancy and NOI, and deliver exceptional resident experiences.

In this role, you will develop leaders, oversee maintenance and leasing initiatives, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws while upholding our commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead onsite team and drive performance across all property operations.
  • Develop and mentor Assistant Managers and staff.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, NOI, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure outstanding resident experience and resolve concerns.
  • Oversee maintenance, make-ready schedules, and inspections.
  • Execute marketing plans to maximize occupancy and leasing.

What You'll Do

As the Property Manager, you will have full responsibility for the overall performance and success of your community, including:

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate onsite team members
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and service-focused culture
  • Develop future leaders by mentoring Assistant Managers and onsite staff
  • Recruit, onboard, evaluate, and retain top talent
Financial Performance
  • Drive occupancy, revenue growth, and net operating income (NOI)
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and property financial performance
  • Review monthly operating statements and implement improvement strategies
  • Oversee rent collections and rental rate adjustments
Resident Experience
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction
  • Resolve resident concerns professionally and effectivelyMaintain strong resident retention and renewal programs
  • Ensure every resident interaction reflects our commitment to excellence
Property Operations
  • Maintain outstanding curb appeal and community appearance
  • Coordinate maintenance operations and make-ready schedules
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance standards are met
Marketing & Leasing
  • Maximize occupancy through strategic marketing initiatives
  • Analyze market trends and competitive properties
  • Support leasing efforts and ensure leasing goals are achieved
  • Develop and execute community marketing plans
