Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day property operations and ensure properties are maintained to a high standard
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, work orders, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Work closely with maintenance personnel, outside vendors, and contractors
  • Prioritize maintenance needs and ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain positive resident relationships and professionally address questions, concerns, and requests
  • Oversee leasing activities, renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and resident retention
  • Monitor occupancy, vacancies, rent collection, and delinquency
  • Conduct regular property inspections for cleanliness, safety, curb appeal, and maintenance needs
  • Review property expenses, invoices, and other financial information
  • Coordinate unit turns and property improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate resident, leasing, maintenance, and property records
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements and applicable property management regulations
  • Identify operational or maintenance concerns and proactively coordinate solutions

Pay: $27–$32/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential properties in the Madison, Wisconsin area.

The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities independently. This individual will oversee property operations, coordinate maintenance and vendors, support residents, manage leasing activities, and ensure properties remain well-maintained and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day property operations and ensure properties are maintained to a high standard

  • Coordinate maintenance requests, work orders, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance

  • Work closely with maintenance personnel, outside vendors, and contractors
