Job summary

CBRE Property Management Manager is seeking a capable leader to supervise a team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a single property or a small portfolio. You will coordinate daily activities, manage budgets, and deliver timely owner reports to ensure objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Real-estate License is required.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Review rent and CAM recovery charges for timely payment.

  • Identify and resolve day-to-day issues in systems and processes.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Property Management Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of a single property or small portfolio of properties.

This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues.

  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.

  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.

  • Help create programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.

  • Prepare all required legal notices for approval.

  • Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is on time.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Real-estate License is required

  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Property Panager position is $75,000 annually and the maximum salary for the associate property manager position is $85,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program
