Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Community Manager (Property Manager) to lead a high-performing on-site team and deliver exceptional resident experiences while driving financial performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of multifamily property management leadership, experience overseeing renovations or value-add projects, strong budgeting, forecasting and KPI skills, and a proven ability to coach and develop staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property management leadership experience.
• Experience managing communities undergoing renovations or value-add repositioning.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI achievement.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop on-site team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Drive occupancy and revenue through leasing, marketing, and competitive positioning.
• Monitor KPIs such as occupancy, delinquency, renewal rates, and renovation ROI.
• Ensure compliance with policies, fair housing regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.

What You’ll Bring – Desired Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of multifamily property management leadership experience.
