Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial performance of the property, including overseeing rents, occupancy, and expenditures.
  • Supervise resident retention, renewal, and leasing programs to maximize occupancy.
  • Handle resident relations, including responding to calls, requests, and concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal and local regulations.
  • Manage, train, and counsel onsite staff effectively.
  • Oversee daily leasing paperwork and service requests.
  • Analyze monthly performance, discuss strategies with the Regional Property Manager, and complete annual business plans and budgets.
  • Assign and review all leasing paperwork.
  • Audit lease files for compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of onsite property management experience, including leasing and bookkeeping.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software such as Yardi is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and reports.
  • Strong marketing and budgeting knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Willingness to tour the community, including walking and climbing stairs.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required.
