A leading commercial real estate firm in Birmingham is hiring a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial (retail, office, light industrial) properties. This is a high-ownership role, ideal for a professional who excels in operations, financial oversight, and tenant relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for tenants and property owners, ensuring outstanding service and timely communication
• Manage maintenance requests, vendor coordination, project timelines, and site inspections
• Review and approve invoices and expenditures in line with management contracts
• Oversee leasing activity including new tenant onboarding, move-outs, and lease administration
• Partner with internal teams on capital improvement projects and tenant buildouts
• Lead property financial management: budgeting, variance reporting, and expense reconciliation
• Rebid and negotiate service contracts to ensure quality and cost-efficiency
• Mentor junior team members and support department leadership with business development efforts
• Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and onboarding of new properties

Qualifications:
