Job summary

Maddox PRO is seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operational and financial health of our growing real estate portfolio in Battle Ground, WA. This high-accountability role sits at the center of our Real Estate team, ensuring rent collection and lease compliance.

You will be the primary tenant contact, maintain records, coordinate move-ins, and work with in-house teams to prepare spaces for occupancy, while keeping properties aligned with Maddox PRO’s

Qualifications

• Lease Administration: read commercial leases and identify trigger dates (escalations, renewals, expirations).
• Firm but Fair Communication: strong written and verbal skills to enforce terms professionally.
• Administrative Discipline: detail-oriented in Google/Apple ecosystems.
• Experience: 2+ years in property management or high-volume accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Finance: ensure rent is paid on time; follow up on late payments; work with accounting to keep tenant accounts accurate.
• Administration: be the first contact for tenant inquiries; maintain lease records; coordinate move-ins; liaise with construction for occupancy.
• Operations: coordinate maintenance; conduct periodic property inspections to meet standards.

About Maddox PRO + You

We are seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented Property Manager to manage the operational and financial health of our growing real estate portfolio. This is a high-accountability role that sits at the center of our Real Estate team, working with the Real Estate team to ensure that all properties are managed with excellence.

The primary mission of this role is to ensure our assets are performing as intended, starting with the disciplined management of rent collections and tenant compliance. This role is for someone who finds deep satisfaction in organization and "clean" accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for our tenants, ensuring that rent is collected, lease terms are met, and the property remains a professional reflection of Maddox PRO’s standards.

Core Responsibilities

Financial

• Ensure rent is paid on time and in full.
• Follow up on late payments, issue notices, and apply late fees per lease terms.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure tenant accounts are accurate.

Administration

• Serve as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
• Maintain lease records, track expirations, renewals, and rent escalations.
• Coordinate tenant move-ins, including keys, utility information, and insurance documentation.
• Work as liaison between tenants and in-house construction team to prepare spaces for occupancy.

Operations

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve property maintenance issues promptly.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure assets meet company standards.

• You are unflappable under pressure and can handle multiple tenant requests without losing your focus.

Skills & Experience

• Lease Administration: Ability to read complex commercial leases and identify critical "trigger dates" (escalations, renewals, and insurance expirations).
• "Firm but Fair" Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to ensure lease terms are being met while providing excellent customer service.
• Administrative Discipline: High proficiency in the Google/Apple ecosystem. You are "detail-obsessed."
• Experience: 2+ years in property management, real estate administration, or a high-volume accounts receivable role.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $28-$38 hourly DOE.
• Comprehensive benefits package averaging $20,000+ per year (depending on eligibility), including Health & wellness benefits (insurance or cash-in-lieu options), 401(k) with 100% match up to 8% of wages, Paid maternity and paternity leave, Paid holidays, PTO, and family-life gifts, Vision, dental, disability, and life insurance.
