Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Cincinnati Metro Area seeks a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support site upkeep across up to 15 locations. You’ll handle light construction, repairs, and external area maintenance while coordinating with vendors.

Key responsibilities include managing work orders, assisting with audits and regulatory visits, and ensuring fleet and contractual compliance. A strong focus on safety and service is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in facilities/maintenance.
• Proficient in facilities disciplines and total site responsibilities.
• Budget-minded and customer service oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to expand knowledge and stay updated on processes.
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up to 15 site locations and manage overall site upkeep.
• Perform light construction and maintenance tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring).
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers).
• Oversee exterior spaces and vendor management, including playgrounds.
• Process work orders and monitor vendor performance.
• Support centers during audits, regulatory visits, and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor contractual obligations and fleet compliance.

What will you be doing?

• Total site(s) maintenance and management of up to 15 locations
• Light construction and/or maintenance to include, but not limited to: construction, carpentry, plumbing (most common), electrical, painting, flooring, pest treatment, and other general repairs
• Small appliance troubleshooting and repair (refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)
• Exterior space maintenance and vendor management, including playgrounds
• Work order management system for internal requests
• Maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and manage their performance
• Monitor contractual obligations
• Support the centers through Audits, Regulatory Visits, Initiatives, Compliance violations, Fleet Compliance, etc.
