DHI Communities, a division of D.R. Horton, focuses on multifamily development. We are seeking a Leasing Manager-PM to oversee leasing and marketing at our Lavon, TX property.

Role Summary:

The Leasing Manager will coordinate with regional teams to meet leasing goals, develop marketing strategies, and foster positive resident relations. Responsibilities include managing leasing processes, marketing, and team leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement effective leasing techniques to meet goals, including closing metrics, follow-up procedures, lease signing, and reporting accuracy.
• Conduct all sales functions: appointments, lead generation, tours, maintaining the leasing center, follow-up, and managing move-ins.
• Manage application and renewal processes.
• Maintain communication with prospective residents via email, calls, and mail to encourage lease signings and renewals.
• Conduct community inspections and coordinate repairs.
• Supervise operational activities and support team training and performance.
• Ensure team has necessary materials and supplies for successful leasing.
• Monitor leasing staff performance in converting inquiries and walk-ins.
• Provide consistent resident service throughout their lifecycle.
• Stay informed on market trends by visiting competitor properties and monitoring rents and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA.
• Maintain professionalism and ethics in all business dealings.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; occasional travel may be required.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns and assist with vendor scheduling and marketing strategies.
• Support community marketing activities and resident events.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years experience in leasing, sales, or customer service
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills
• Effective communication and legal document comprehension
• Proficiency with internet marketing tools and MS Office
• Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, and climbing stairs
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred:

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite, ILM, or Propertyware
