DHI Communities - Leasing Manager-PM

DHI Communities is a multifamily development division of D.R. Horton, Inc., currently seeking a Leasing Manager-PM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of leasing and marketing at the property. The Leasing Manager works closely with the Regional Manager, Shared Service, and Marketing teams to meet leasing goals and develop strategic marketing plans. This role involves leading the leasing process and maintaining positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Ensure effective leasing techniques to meet goals, including closing metrics, follow-up procedures, lease signing, and reporting accuracy.
  2. Conduct functions necessary to close sales, including appointments, lead generation, tours, and managing the move-in process.
  3. Manage the application process and lease renewals.
  4. Follow-up with prospects and residents to convey service commitment through various communication methods.
  5. Perform community inspections and coordinate repairs.
  6. Supervise operational functions and support the leasing team’s training and development.
  7. Ensure proper materials and supplies are available for leasing activities.
  8. Monitor and improve leasing conversion rates from inquiries and walk-ins.
  9. Maintain market awareness through competitor visits and market surveys.
  10. Complete administrative and financial reports.
  11. Ensure compliance with government regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA.
  12. Uphold professional and ethical standards in all business dealings.
  13. Work weekends and flexible hours, with occasional travel as needed.
  14. Respond promptly to resident concerns and assist with vendor scheduling and marketing strategies.
  15. Support community marketing activities and resident events.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three years of related experience in leasing, sales, or customer service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills for legal documents and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency with internet marketing tools and MS Office.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of property management software such as OneSite, ILM, or Propertyware is preferred.
