DHI Communities, a division of D.R. Horton, Inc., specializes in multifamily development.

We are seeking a Leasing Manager-PM responsible for overseeing all leasing and marketing activities at the property. This role involves working closely with the Regional Manager, Shared Service, and Marketing teams to meet leasing goals and develop strategic marketing plans. The Leasing Manager will lead the leasing process, ensure effective marketing, and foster positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Implement effective leasing techniques to meet goals, including closing metrics, follow-up procedures, lease documentation, and accurate reporting
  • Conduct all functions necessary to close sales, including appointments, lead generation, tours, lease signing, and move-in coordination
  • Manage the application process and lease renewals
  • Follow-up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and other contacts to secure lease agreements and renewals
  • Perform community inspections and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Supervise operational functions and support the leasing team’s training and performance development
  • Ensure the leasing team has necessary materials and supplies
  • Monitor and improve conversion rates of inquiries and walk-ins
  • Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the resident lifecycle
  • Conduct market surveys by visiting competitive properties and staying informed on market trends
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA
  • Respond promptly to resident concerns and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with vendor scheduling, supplies, pricing, marketing activities, and resident events

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in internet marketing and computer systems, including CRM, MS Office, and email
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with property management software such as OneSite, ILM, or Propertyware
