DHI Communities, a division of D.R. Horton, focuses on multifamily development and is seeking a Leasing Manager-PM.

The Leasing Manager will oversee all leasing and marketing activities at the property, working closely with regional and support teams to meet leasing goals and develop marketing strategies. Responsibilities include leading leasing processes, fostering resident relations, and ensuring property presentation and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement effective leasing techniques to meet goals, including closing metrics, follow-up procedures, lease signing, and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage the entire sales process from appointment setting, lead generation, tours, to move-in procedures.
  • Oversee application processing, lease renewals, and expirations.
  • Maintain communication with prospects via emails, calls, and follow-ups to secure leases and renewals.
  • Conduct community inspections and coordinate repairs to maintain property standards.
  • Support operational functions and motivate the leasing team through training and accountability measures.
  • Ensure the leasing team has necessary materials and tools for success.
  • Monitor and improve inquiry conversion rates and walk-in closures.
  • Provide consistent resident service throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conduct market surveys by visiting competitors and staying informed on market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA.
  • Handle resident concerns promptly and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist in vendor management, marketing activities, and resident events.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Proficiency with internet marketing tools, CRM systems, MS Office, and email.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Preferred:

  • Experience with property management software such as OneSite, ILM, or Propertyware.
