We are seeking a Leasing Consultant-PM in the Operations Department who is passionate about helping people find and love their new homes. This customer-focused role involves problem-solving and providing excellent service throughout the resident life cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective and current residents, communicating the value and experience of living at a DHI Communities Build-To-Rent community
• Manage the application process
• Follow-up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and cards to encourage leasing and renewals
• Provide consistent service during the resident lifecycle
• Respond promptly to resident concerns, resolve issues, or escalate as needed
• Manage lease expirations and secure renewals
• Assist with community marketing and resident events
• Complete administrative, financial, and accounting reports
• Ensure compliance with regulations like Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Conduct all business professionally to serve customers and promote company goodwill

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months to one year related experience or training
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills
• Effective communication skills for legal documents, amenities, and resident questions
• Proficiency with computers, CRM, MS Office, and internet marketing tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sales, leasing, retail, or customer service
