Position Summary:

We are seeking a Leasing Consultant-PM to join our Operations Department. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping people find, love, and settle into their new homes, serving as a customer-focused problem solver who enjoys assisting others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Interact with prospective and current residents, communicating the value and overall experience of living in a DHI Communities (DHIC) Build-To-Rent community.
  2. Manage the application process efficiently.
  3. Follow-up with prospective and future residents through emails, thank-you notes, calls, or other contacts to finalize leasing or renewal decisions.
  4. Provide consistent service throughout the resident lifecycle.
  5. Respond promptly and courteously to resident concerns and questions, taking appropriate action or escalating issues as needed.
  6. Manage lease expirations and secure renewals.
  7. Assist with community marketing activities and resident events.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA.
  9. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  10. Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profitability.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills, including lead generation, presentations, needs assessment, and closing.
  • Effective communication skills for understanding legal documents, explaining amenities, and answering residency questions.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions, including using DRH applications.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, CRM programs, MS Office, and internet usage for marketing and sales.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in sales, leasing, retail, or customer service is advantageous.
