Job summary

Target is seeking a Property Management Lead to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of building assets, manage vendor performance, and ensure safety and efficiency across store operations.

You will coordinate with store teams, drive cost-conscious decisions, and champion guest experience while upholding Target’s standards. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18+ years old
• 1+ years of technical education in electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC, or plumbing
• Basic technical skills with property assets
• Proficiency with power tools and HVAC equipment
• Strong vendor management and accountability
• Effective communication and use of technology
• Ability to manage workload independently
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments consistently
• Ensure team understands and delivers Target guest experience commitments
• Observe and provide feedback while recognizing good moments
• Review area metrics to identify opportunities and drive results
• Use technology to create, troubleshoot, and complete work orders
• Perform preventive maintenance on building assets and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE
• Train store team on safety procedures
• Engage store leadership on workload priorities and asset care
• Lead by example in onboarding and learning, coaching teams
• Collaborate with PM partners to meet maintenance standards
• Assist in special projects, remodels, and asset strategies
• Ensure work orders are completed safely by vendors
• Assist in emergencies with store/field leaders
• Demonstrate inclusivity and respect diversity
• All other duties as needed
