$65,000.00/yr - $77,000.00/yr

A premier commercial real estate company is seeking a Property Management Accountant to support its growing real estate portfolio. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting across multiple properties, including journal entries, lease accounting, CAM reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and excited to contribute to a mission-driven company focused on strengthening Hawaiʻi’s communities. Property Management Accountant Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for multiple commercial and residential properties
• Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Conduct lease accounting, including AP/AR, lease activation, and straight-line rent calculations
• Handle fixed assets and supporting documentation for debt and loan compliance
• Prepare monthly financial and NOI reports using Yardi software
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and real estate supplement reporting
• Support month-end and year-end close with reports and schedules
• Complete year-end CAM reconciliations
  
  

Property Management Accountant Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2 years of general accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of GAAP principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with property/real estate accounting is preferred
• Familiarity with Yardi software or other ERP systems
