Job description

Barden is delighted to have been exclusively engaged by our client, a scaling Irish business with multinational operations. Due to expansion, they are inviting a newly qualified accountant to join their team in a newly created poisiton asFinancial Accountant.

This is a hands on accounting role and will work closely with the CFO. Clear progression path to grow alongside the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the month-end process. Including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review customer contracts to ensure correct billing and revenue treatment.
• Manage invoicing and prepare revenue recognition memos in line with accounting standards.
• Track incoming payments and coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of corporation tax computations and related accruals.
• Assist with the year-end audit process, including preparing detailed supporting documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, including variance analysis and reporting
• Ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

• Newly qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Open on practice or industry trained backgrounds.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
