Job summary

Mills Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and maintain the condition of an assigned property portfolio. You will respond to residents’ maintenance requests, perform upkeep to ensure safety and aesthetics, and complete repairs as directed by supervision.

Daily duties include resident communication, apartment turnover, inventory management, and operating company vehicles and equipment. Flexibility for occasional after-hours calls and travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must have prompt problem-solving abilities and clear communication.
• Strong organizational skills for multitasking and scheduling.
• Prior construction/maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residents’ maintenance/repair requests and follow up promptly.
• Perform maintenance and upkeep to ensure safety and aesthetics of properties.
• Complete delegated repair work as directed by supervisor.
• Conduct apartment turnover per checklists and deadlines.
• Maintain inventory and operate company vehicle/equipment.
• Greet residents onsite and communicate effectively.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Travel to surrounding areas to complete maintenance duties.
