Job summary

Imagineers LLC, a property management company with offices in Hartford and Seymour, Connecticut, is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician. You will perform general exterior maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry across residential properties, inspect sites, and respond to maintenance requests while prioritizing your workload.

You will document work, communicate with managers and homeowners, and contribute to safety and upkeep.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and repair tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Ability to inspect properties regularly and proactively address maintenance needs.
• Proven track record of responding promptly to maintenance requests with timely resolutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with property managers, homeowners, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general exterior maintenance and repair tasks for residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with property managers, homeowners, and other team members to provide updates and clarify project requirements.
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely fashion.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report on project progress using our maintenance software.
• Recommend cost-effective solutions and improvements for property maintenance and upkeep.
• Order materials and replace damaged parts of the property.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety practices and protocols.
• Rotating emergency on call with a stipend and double pay for dispatch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
