Job summary

Pacific Capital Management seeks a Maintenance Technician in Sacramento, CA to handle resident maintenance requests within 24 hours, perform painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and ready vacant units for occupancy while upholding safety standards.

Requirements include HS diploma or GED, a valid California driver's license, and ability to work on-call for after-hours emergencies. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with up to 4% match, paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in Property Maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of interior/exterior painting.
• Knowledge and experience of plumbing.
• Basic electrical knowledge (preferred).
• Must meet deadlines consistently.
• Must possess a strong work ethic and integrity.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have a Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests from residents within 24 hours.
• Be on-call for after-hours and weekend emergency maintenance.
• Repair lights, electrical, and plumbing fixtures and fittings.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces of buildings.
• Perform carpentry tasks and hardware replacement.
• Change locks as required and inspect units and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy within 3–5 days.
• Ensure security and lighting in hallways, parking, and grounds.
• Know water/gas/sewer shutoffs and perform preventive maintenance.
• Order supplies with supervisor approval.
• Attend meetings and trainings as directed.
