Job summary

Bethyl Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's physical condition, safety, cleanliness, and appearance, while ensuring company standards are met. You will be a team player with general knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair and electrical, providing residents with quality service.

This full-time, on-site role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include prepping Market Ready apartments, responding to resident requests promptly,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications preferred.
• General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Market Ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general duties for move-in quality.
• Responds to resident requests promptly and maintains professionalism.
• Maintains knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Keeps grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities clean and safe.
• Reports maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performs property inspections by walking the grounds.
• Performs scheduled maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Adheres to state, local, and federal fair housing laws.
• Attends training and safety programs as required.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents the company professionally.
• Safeguards all tools and equipment.
• Willing to work evenings or weekends on-call for emergencies.
