Job summary

Progress Residential LP is seeking a Service Technician I to help oversee property assets and ensure resident satisfaction. You will diagnose issues, perform general repairs, and assist with apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance, and rehab projects, representing the company professionally.

Ideal candidates bring maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and knowledge of HVAC. You will work on-site at our Phoenix properties with a team that emphasizes safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills are required to perform job functions.
• High School Diploma or GED is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC is required.
• Must provide own industry-specific hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to complete repairs and replacements to restore units to move-in ready condition.
• Performs maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep per company standards including exterior grounds and common areas; assists with HVAC tasks.
• Assists with identifying and correcting hazardous conditions and reports hazards to supervisors.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented.
• Maintains and secures all property-issued tools.
• Supports on-call duties and responds to resident requests per standards.
