Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Milwaukee is seeking a Property Maintenance/Handyman Technician to support field operations on site in Milwaukee. You will perform flooring installation, drywall finishing, painting, carpentry, and related tasks while coordinating with clients and the team to ensure timely project completion.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

As a Property Maintenance/Handyman Technician, you are a key team member supporting the work of field operations. Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration and T.L. Reese Properties. Specific Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles with or without trailers
• Property maintenance
• Flooring installation (Vinyl, Vinyl Plank)
• Carpet & pad installation
• Wood framing
• Metal stud framing
• Drywall installation (finishing, texturing, tape, mud, finish and sand)
• Pre-hung door installation
• Vinyl window installation
• Cabinet installation
• Finish caulking (trim, tops, etc)
• Painting
• Suspended ceiling systems installation
• Door hardware installation (locksets, dead bolts, panic hardware)
• Rubber roofing installation and maintenance
• Plumbing fixture repair/replacement (toilet, tub, shower, faucet, drain, etc)
• Electrical fixture repair/replacement (light, fan, outlets, switch, etc)
• Construction projects
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Meet deadlines
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
  

Other Duties May Include But Not Be Limited To

• Ability to read and understand maps & directions
• Work with a team
• Possess or have the ability and willingness to learn and participate in performing:
• Residential/commercial vacant property clean outs
• Commercial grass cutting & snow removal
• Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all times
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties
  

Job Requirements

• We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
• Valid Driver's License
