Restoration Service Technician — Rainbow Restoration

As a Service Technician, you are a key team member supporting field operations and contributing to the day-to-day contract operations. You will demonstrate our values, show respect and courtesy to customers and fellow team members, and work in a self-motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic manner. You will project a professional company image through in-person and phone interactions while collaborating with others to manage various situations daily.

Specific Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles with trailers
• Read and understand maps and directions
• Work with a team
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
• Meet deadlines
• Learn and participate in performing:
  • Water restoration
  • Mold remediation
  • Trauma scene cleaning
  • Smoke and fire damage restoration
  • Carpet and upholstery cleaning
  • Content cleaning
  • Lead remediation
  • Boardup and tarp over services
  • Commercial grass cutting and snow removal
  • Property maintenance
  • Construction projects
• Respond to jobs and initiate work in accordance with IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's internal processes
• Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) and keep them clean, maintained, and stocked
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements

• We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance and personality
• Team player who can work independently
• Smartphone and tablet literate; working knowledge of word processing and business software applications
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook) and other software
• Ability to learn new computer software
• Experience in Xactware is helpful but not mandatory
• Restoration and construction experience is helpful but not required
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Willing to train supporting team members
• Career-minded mentality for future positions/ownership

Starting Compensation
Based on number of certifications and experience:

• Service Technician (entry level/minimal experience): $14-$15 per hour
• Service Technician 1: $14-$16 per hour
• Service Technician 2: $16-$18 per hour
• Service Technician 3: $18-$20 per hour
• Lead Service Technician: $20-$22 per hour
• Field Operations Manager: $22+ per hour
• Project Manager: $22+ per hour
