Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Milwaukee is seeking a Service Technician to support field operations in a 24-hour emergency service environment. You will handle responsibilities from driving to customer communications and job paperwork, ensuring timely service delivery.

The role requires strong communication, a professional appearance, and the ability to work with a team while occasionally learning new restoration techniques. On-call availability and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• On-call availability for 24-hour emergency service.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Smartphone and tablet literacy; MS Office experience.
• Experience with Xactware is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles with trailers.
• Read and understand maps and directions.
• Work with a team to complete assignments.
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and paperwork.
• Establish and maintain schedules for timely service delivery.
• Meet deadlines and maintain standards.
• Learn and perform water restoration and mold remediation tasks.
• Assist with trauma scene cleaning, fire damage restoration, carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Lead remediation, boardup and tarp over services.
• Maintenance of equipment and vehicles; keep stocked.
• Support marketing efforts to sell additional services.
• Perform other duties as required.

As a Service Technician, you are a key team member supporting the work of field operations. Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration. Specific Responsibilities

• Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all times
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties

Job Requirements

• We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and personality
• Team player who can work independently
• Smart phone and tablet computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software applications
• Computer literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook) and other computer software
• Ability to learn new computer software
• Experience in Xactware software would be helpful, but not mandatoryRestoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Willing to train supporting team members (stewardship)
• Career minded mentality planning for future positions/ownership, not just looking for a job for today.

Compensation

• Competitive Pay ($14.50-$25+ Hour):
• Service Technician (entry level/minimal experience): $14.50-$15.50 Hr.
• Service Technician 1: $15.50-$17 Hr.
• Service Technician 2: $17-$18 Hr.
• Service Technician 3: $18-$22 Hr.
• Lead Service Technician: $22+ Hr.
• Field Operations Manager: $24+ Hr.
• Project Manager: $25+ Hr.
