Job summary

Fortis Property Management in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will work closely with the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily upkeep and ensure a high‑quality living environment for residents.

Key duties include completing work orders promptly, performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, and proactively inspecting the property to prevent issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational/technical training preferred.
• EPA certification required; CPO preferred.
• Experience in property maintenance and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool care.
• Must have own tools and basic computer skills for office software and property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the physical condition of the community and vacant units.
• Complete work orders promptly and coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances as needed.
• Provide excellent resident service and maintain a professional image.
