Job summary

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) is hiring a Maintenance Technician to service Pacific Village properties. The role reports to the Property Manager and requires 2+ years of maintenance experience with strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

Equivalent to high school and two years of maintenance experience.
Knowledge of maintenance trades and safety practices.
Ability to read manuals and blueprints and use basic software.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on Commission buildings and facilities to ensure safety and function.
Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components as needed.
Maintain logs and reports of work performed and materials used.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Assist in project planning and procure materials for repairs.
