Fitch Irick Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Columbia, SC to handle day‑to‑day maintenance at our properties. The role covers grounds, facilities, and common areas, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to requests, and document activities. The job requires physical labor, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with a team in a fast‑paced environment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: None required.
• Must be physically able to lift 100+ pounds occasionally.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain property grounds, buildings and amenities.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs.
• Document incidents and reports per Fitch Irick procedures.
• Maintain safety logs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Complete unit turnovers and ensure timely maintenance requests are addressed.
