Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for full-time, direct hire throughout Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, and Piru, CA. You will handle general repairs, turnovers, and inspections across multiple affordable-housing communities, contributing to safe, well-maintained properties.

Qualifications

• Perform general maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other building repairs.
• Complete apartment turnovers and prepare vacant units for new resident occupancy.
• Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, common areas, and property amenities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and assist with move-in, move-out, and bi-annual inspections.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for property repairs, services, and special maintenance projects.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory records, equipment records, and complete emergency after-hours maintenance when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.
• Job Type: Direct Hire.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Location: Serving properties in Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, and Piru, CA.
