Job summary

Barkan Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Lynn, MA to respond to maintenance requests and support the Maintenance Supervisor with a variety of tasks at our residential properties. You will perform preventative maintenance, assist with repairs, and help ensure safety and quality living spaces for residents.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and the ability to work on-site, including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests as instructed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Facilities Manager.
• Perform preventative maintenance and tasks related to apartment turns.
• Do daily litter patrol on a scheduled basis.
• Assist with general repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and related areas.
• Perform snow removal as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and promote a quality living experience.
