Job summary

Gorman & Company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for two affordable housing communities, Printery Row in Pulaski and Bay City Lofts in Green Bay. You’ll handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, while keeping interiors and exteriors safe and well-maintained.

You’ll be the primary on-call technician with a resident-first mindset, requiring a valid license and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• At least two years in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Ability to be the primary on-call technician.
• Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Maintain exterior of the property and pool areas and seasonal prep tasks.
• Perform daily property walks for safety and cleanliness.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests.
• Prepare vacant apartments using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.
