Job summary

Choice Management is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance and unit turn activities across our multifamily communities. You’ll ensure homes, common areas, and assets are well maintained, safe, and move-in ready while delivering outstanding service to residents.

You’ll work with the Maintenance Supervisor and leasing team, perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of building systems and unit turns.
• HVAC, carpentry, electrical or plumbing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident work orders promptly, with high level of customer service.
• Perform general maintenance in apartments, common areas, and property grounds.
• Complete unit turns to ensure move-in readiness.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of building systems, equipment, vacant units, and common areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and trade partners as needed to complete repairs and maintenance projects.
