Job summary

Summit Property Management in North East Dallas is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine repairs, complete work orders, and help maintain property common areas to high standards. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. Bilingual is a plus.

This on-site role requires on-call availability and adherence to safety policies. Summit champions a collaborative, value-driven workplace.

Qualifications

2+ years of general maintenance experience.
EPA universal license for HVAC preferred.
CPO license preferred.
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
HVAC Certification required; troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and major appliances (washer/dryer).
High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; college-level/trade school preferred.
Basic computer proficiency preferred.
Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders and other community maintenance.
Maintain community appearance at or above quality standards; clean buildings and amenities.
Identify maintenance needs and report hazards to Manager.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
Review make-ready board and follow direction for vacant apartments.
Perform repairs and replacements to keep apartments occupied.
Be on call and adhere to safety policies.
