Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• One year of experience in maintenance, custodial, or groundskeeping preferred.
• Ability to read English to understand orders and instructions.
• Basic troubleshooting and ability to repair defective components.
• Willingness to travel; typically 1-3 days per week.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to influence across stakeholders.
• Understanding of data analysis, budgeting and operations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and carry out work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Carry out cleaning schedules and tasks.
• Inspect exteriors, units, equipment, and grounds to determine cleaning needs.
• Perform groundskeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
• Record work, cleaning, and improvements performed.
• Maintain inventory and care for cleaning products and supplies.
• Report unusual situations and residents' issues.
• Diagnose issues, repair parts, and escalate as needed.
• Apply chemicals and use hand and power tools.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies; maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
