Job summary

Gables Residential is seeking a Service Manager to lead and coordinate maintenance across our communities. You will supervise a team, build rapport with residents and vendors, and oversee service operations with a hands-on leadership style.

You will implement preventative maintenance programs, manage budgets, and guide bidding procedures under the General Manager. A strong focus on mentorship and adapting to community needs is essential. This role is on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in apartment maintenance or similar.
• EPA Certification Type I and II required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations for assigned communities and act as the on-site lead for maintenance.
• Supervise the maintenance team, coordinate inspections, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize emergencies and repairs.
• Manage budgets for supplies, schedule vendor services, and bid procurements under the General Manager's guidance.
• Mentor and train on-site staff to enhance skills and career growth.
