Job Description

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Day-to-day management experience in the apartment industry managing 500+ apartments
  • Hiring, training, and overseeing staff to build strong teams
  • Bidding, negotiating, and implementing contracts
  • Developing capital improvement projects and overseeing them through completion
  • Reviewing and analyzing reports for trends, opportunities, and potential problems
  • Extensive knowledge of maintenance, apartment turnovers, building components, and facility-related issues
  • Customer service skills
  • Snow removal
  • Hands-on position
  • On-call responsibilities

Candidates must possess the following qualities:

  • Leadership skills to motivate employees towards common goals
  • Ability to implement policies and procedures
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with vendors, superiors, and subordinates
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently
  • Ability to create and implement operating efficiencies
