Qualifications

• LLB degree or equivalent qualification; Admission as an Attorney of the High Court.
• Minimum 4 years' post-admission experience in property law and conveyancing.
• Proficient in conveyancing procedures and relevant software; strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines; work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of conveyancing, including property transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations.
• Draft and review property-related legal documents, such as sale agreements, leases, and sectional title schemes.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on property transactions.
• Advise clients on property development, zoning, and land use regulations.
• Represent clients in property-related disputes and litigation.
• Manage client communication and provide regular updates on transaction progress.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with estate agents, developers, and financial institutions.
• Maintain accurate and organized property transaction files.
