Job summary

Denham Property and Injury Law Firm in Lexington, Kentucky, seeks a Kentucky-licensed litigation attorney to join our plaintiff-side practice. The role focuses on managing and litigating cases against insurance companies from intake to resolution, with base pay plus bonus.

This full-time, in-person position requires strong litigation skills, the ability to advise clients and coordinate with experts, and willingness to travel for hearings and inspections.

Qualifications

• Kentucky law license in good standing.
• Able to work in person in Lexington and travel for court, depositions, mediations, and inspections.
• UBE score 270 or higher, or 3+ years of practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage and litigate cases against insurance companies from intake through resolution.
• Set case strategy and advise clients on the right course of action.
• Work directly with clients, adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Appear in Kentucky state and federal courts for hearings and trials; attend depositions, mediations, and property inspections as needed.
• Oversee paralegals and administrative staff, and help grow our Kentucky practice.
