The attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, participate in hearings, mediations, and trials, and communicate with clients regarding strategy and status. Collaboration with other attorneys and staff is expected, with strong organization and deadline management.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Arizona Bar license.
• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with first-party property insurance litigation strongly preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong client-service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing an active litigation caseload
• Developing case strategy and evaluating claims
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conducting and defending depositions
• Preparing for and participating in hearings, mediations, and trials
• Communicating directly with clients regarding case strategy and status
