My Perfect Stays in Lahaina, Maui seeks a dependable Property Inspector to conduct post-cleaning inspections across our vacation rental portfolio. You will ensure properties meet high cleanliness, presentation, and guest-readiness standards before guest arrivals.

The ideal candidate notices details others miss, works well independently, and communicates with housekeeping and maintenance teams to keep properties inspection-ready for outstanding guest stays.

Qualifications

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
• Active and reliable cell phone service required.
• Ability to use mobile applications, email, and inspection software.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and highly organized.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physically able to walk properties frequently, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacation rental properties after housekeeping services are completed.
• Ensure units meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Verify all rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lanais, and common areas are guest-ready.
• Check for cleanliness, damages, missing items, odors, maintenance concerns, and proper staging.
• Report maintenance issues, inventory shortages, or housekeeping deficiencies promptly.
• Submit detailed inspection reports using company software and mobile applications.
• Communicate professionally with Coordinators, Housekeepers, and Management.
• Follow arrival schedules and prioritize units based on guest check-in times.
• Assist with quality control and uphold company standards across all properties.
• Ensure all unit amenities, supplies, linens, and toiletries are properly stocked.
• Occasionally assist with light troubleshooting or coordination between departments.
• Maintain professionalism while representing My Perfect Stays on property sites.
