Job summary

Weekender Hotels is seeking a Property Host II to lead on-site operations at the Killington, Vermont property. You will drive guest experiences, maintain high property standards, oversee housekeeping and maintenance, manage inventory and vendor relations, and monitor financial performance for the site.

This role requires balancing hospitality with strong operational execution, participating in a soft opening, and collaborating with F&B leadership as amenities come online.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years in hotel operations, guest services, front desk, or hospitality management.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with hotel openings, pre-opening, or renovation environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of P&L statements and basic financial reporting preferred.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using property management systems; Mews experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; winter mountain driving conditions travel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure.
• Oversee daily guest operations, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest communications.
• Collaborate with guest services team members to deliver high-quality service.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a visible presence during peak hours while upholding brand standards.
• Oversee daily property operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and excellence.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and keep properties guest-ready.
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to ensure timely repairs.
• Oversee housekeeping operations and room turnover; inspect spaces for quality.
• Manage reservations, room inventory, guest billing, and PM systems.
• Monitor daily arrivals and occupancy; prepare operational needs.
• Process invoices and coordinate with Accounting on discrepancies.
• Monitor P&L, labor, and operating expenses in partnership with Area GM.
• Maintain operational documentation and vendor records.
• Coordinate vendor scheduling and access for routines and emergencies.
• Provide cross-training and support to other Weekender properties.
