Job summary

Breezy Point Resort is seeking a Property Ground Maintenance Laborer to join our team. You will perform grounds maintenance, complete work orders, prune trees and shrubs, weed gardens, and keep outdoor spaces clean and welcoming for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Willing to pass a background screening.
• Experience with lawn care and landscaping.
• Able to follow safety procedures per OSHA.
• Able to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance and landscape care.
• Complete work orders in a timely fashion.
• Prune trees and shrubs, weed gardens, and mulch as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor facilities and walkways.
• Keep grounds free of litter and debris.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems and related equipment.
• Interact professionally with residents, HOA managers, and directors.
• Uphold safety standards and OSHA procedures.

Job description

Breezy Point Resort has an immediate opening for a Property Ground Maintenance Laborer to join our team!! You will be responsible for completing work orders, maintaining the gardens, and outdoor landscapes. You will ensure the cleanliness of outdoor facilities, pruning, weeding and maintaining area landscapes. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. Requirements

• Landscapes and maintains grounds
• Performs scheduled trimming, light lawn mowing, weeding, tree & shrub pruning, repair and reseeding of damaged lawn areas
• Plants and maintains trees, shrubs and flowers
• Rakes and disposes of leaves and other yard waste
• Keeps grounds free of litter
• Maintains pump houses and water softeners and performs routine checks on the irrigation systems
• Interacts with homeowners, HOA Community Managers and the Association of the Board of Directors
• Responsible for overall maintenance and physical appearance of our clients' HOA communities
• Must complete work orders in a timely fashion
• Must have some experience in lawn care and landscaping
• Knowledge of plants, and maintenance of landscapes
• Follows all proper safety procedures as established by OSHA and maintains a safe work environment

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Must be willing to pass a background screening
• Be familiar with tools and equipment to perform the work for this job
• Must be a self starter, work independently, detail orientated
