Job summary

Maricopa County Real Estate Department seeks a Real Property GIS & CAD Specialist to provide GIS, CAD, and title services for MCDOT and FCD. You will research deeds, surveys, title reports, and prepare right-of-way plans, base maps, and legal descriptions for real estate transactions.

The role requires responding to inquiries, collaborating with multiple county entities, and ensuring accurate property data across parcels and GIS layers.

Qualifications

• One year of GIS experience.
• Associate’s degree in GIS, cartography, geography, planning, architecture, civil engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and quality-check legal descriptions, exhibits, ROW plans, and other documents.
• Maintain and update real estate parcel land records and GIS parcel polygons and attributes.
• Review and analyze legal documents, construction plans, title reports, and other documents to prepare ROW plans and GIS depictions.
• Respond to inquiries and attend project meetings related to existing and future MCDOT and FCD right-of-way.
• Review and provide feedback on engineering project construction plan submittals and special use permit applications.
